Description
The Blue White Tail is very similar to the Blue White Rump, with the key difference being its snow-white back and tail. It features a striking steel blue color on the shoulders and wings, adorned with characteristic white diamond spots. The neck, head, and breast are blue-gray, while the tail and back are snow white. The underside is also white. Its eyes are ruby red with a bright red eye ring, and the beak is gray. The wings display the same mahogany flight feathers with black tips seen in the Blue Diamond Dove. Ground feeders that do well in aviaries with finches are best. Providing canary nests is recommended, though they tend to make untidy nests. Eggs are incubated by both parents.
