Chick-Bator CL

The Chick-Bator CL is a 12-volt egg incubator designed specifically for classrooms, laboratories, and educational settings. Preset for bird eggs, it’s easy to use—simply plug it in, add water for humidity, and place your eggs. A microprocessor-controlled thermostat automatically regulates temperature while displaying temperature (°F/°C) and humidity for precise monitoring.

Built-in safety sensors help prevent overheating, and the thermostat remains accurate even when room conditions change. Unlike standard plastic incubators, the Chick-Bator CL features insulated construction that warms eggs evenly, delivering performance comparable to a polystyrene Hova-Bator while maintaining long-term durability.

The incubator includes a crystal-clear viewing lid, insulated plastic base, grid floor for airflow, day counter, and an auto-fill water tank that helps maintain proper humidity levels throughout incubation. The adjustable thermostat supports all bird egg requirements and can be set as low as 80°F for reptile eggs, provided ambient room temperatures allow.

An automatic egg turner is sold separately and is compatible with the Hova-Bator PP136 Chicken Egg Turner or PP135 Quail/Chicken Egg Turner. Without a turner installed, the Chick-Bator CL can hold up to 50 chicken or duck eggs or 130 quail eggs. Operates on 12V DC and includes a 100–240V AC power supply.
