Description
The largest of all domestic pigeons, can weigh up to 2 1/2 pounds, is an excellent utility pigeon, it is the oldest of all domestic pigeons. The giant runt pigeon has a large body size and large wing span. Bred for Utility purposes, not show type.
Avg. weight 2- 2 1/2 pounds. Giant runts continue growing their whole lives. Show type runts are loose feathered large birds with low fertility the utility type are tighter feathering and have good fertility in the proper breeding conditions.
