Description
Salmonella pullorum disease can be transmitted through breeding stock. The Pullorum Antigen can also bring out reactors to fowl that are carriers of pullorum disease and Fowl Typhoid. That is why some poultry shows in compliance with state requirements insist that you show proof of blood testing of your birds.
In some states, you can be asked to take an examination to qualify to test your stock. The instructions come with each bottle you purchase.
Essential Testing Supplies
- Testing plate or surface
- Needle or pricking device to draw blood
- Loop for transferring blood sample to the testing surface
The 14 ml bottle of pullorum antigen will do 350 tests. A simple spot test will identify a recent infection of S. pullorum.
Note: We cannot guarantee the Pullorum Antigen will arrive cold if not shipping Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air.
If shipping ground or UPS 2nd Day Air, this product will ship Monday-Wednesday.
If shipping UPS Next Day, this product will ship Monday-Thursday.
