Palm Turtle Doves are a beautiful and popular species of dove, renowned for their peaceful nature and distinctive appearance. They display a stunning, rich tangerine coloration that adds to their striking presence. Their size is comparable to other small doves, generally measuring around 12-14 inches in length.
These doves are relatively easy to breed in captivity, often nesting in sheltered areas with soft nesting materials. They typically lay 2 eggs per clutch, with both parents sharing incubation duties.

They range in age from 3 to 18 months.
