These golden beauties are also excellent mothers because they tend to go broody. They are perfect for those looking to expand their flock naturally with new productive members.

    My girls

by Anne Marie on Nov 18, 2024

I had Buff Orpingtons but a storm surge from Hurricane Ian drowned them all, which absolutely ripped me apart. I will not get chickens again until I find a high and dry property but when I do they will be Buff Orpingtons. They are the best little "Blondies" (which is what I called them) and are sweet little babies. I miss them so much and can't want to have them running around my yard again.
