Blue White Tail Laced Diamond Doves

• The Blue White Tail Laced Diamond Dove is a stunning variation of the traditional diamond dove, featuring a distinctive laced pattern. The wing spots are two to three times larger than usual, creating a striking visual effect that resembles lacing across the wings. The bird's shoulders and wings are a beautiful steel blue, while the head, neck, and breast are a soft light blue-gray. The back and tail are snow white, with the underside also being white.

  Its eye is ruby red, accentuated by a bright red eye ring, and the beak is dark gray. The wings showcase the characteristic mahogany flight feathers with black tips, adding to its elegant appearance. These doves are ground feeders and thrive in aviaries with finches. They are considered an excellent choice for beginners.

  Diet & Care:

  • General diet includes a mix of sorghum, millet, canary seed, grass seed, and more, with plenty of fresh water and grit.
  • Use a finch mix consisting of 100% millet and their favorite foods.
  • Providing canary nests is recommended, though they tend to make untidy nests.

  Breeding:

  • Both parents incubate the eggs, which hatch in approximately 13 days.
