Description
The Black Swedish Duck is a medium weight breed which originated in region of Pommern, which at the time was Sweden but is now the northern border of Germany and Poland. Swedish ducks are cold tolerant, hardy and are very calm ducks. They are slightly less compact in appearance when compared to a Pekin or Rouen. Body is dark colored with a white bib. There is some variation in the color.
