The Dark Throated Red Golden is an excellent choice for enhancing any aviary. With their stunning appearance and gentle nature, these birds thrive in solitude, except during the breeding season. They enjoy foraging for greens and seeds, occasionally indulging in insects. Their diet is complemented by game bird pellets. Notably, Goldens are not strong fliers, often choosing to stay on the ground.
