Free Shipping: Free shipping applies to most orders over $100 sent standard ground service within the lower 48 states. Custom items not shown in this catalog along with items marked with “Does not qualify for free shipping” are excluded from the free shipping offer. Items excluded from the offer are subject to change without notice. Due to the ever-rising cost of outbound shipping, any order with backordered item(s) may be held until the backordered item(s) arrives.

$8 Flat Rate Shipping Promotion: $8 flat rate shipping promotion applies to most orders under $100 and is sent standard ground service in the lower 48 states. Products that do not qualify for free shipping do not qualify for the promotion. Limited time only. Promotion subject to end without notice.

Shipping Estimates: Although we try to be accurate with shipping charges, some circumstances can affect the final cost. If the cost to ship your order is higher than what you were quoted during checkout, we will contact you before we proceed with shipping. Shipping estimates for our Ground Shipping – Mixed Cart method are only applicable to products in the cart that do not qualify for free shipping. Expedited Orders

Expedited orders are only delivered Monday – Friday with no Saturday deliveries and no deliveries during observed holidays. Note: USPS Priority Mail is a standard ground service and is not considered an expedited shipping method. Packages shipped via UPS Next Day Air will be delivered the next business day. For packages needing Saturday delivery please call us to discuss pricing. If you need your order expedited, please call 800-720-1134 to ensure it’s processed as quickly as possible.

International Orders: For international orders for equipment, there is additional shipping. You will receive a quote for shipping costs via email at this point you can either accept or reject the shipping charges. We do not send live birds, eggs or adult birds internationally.

As always, chick & egg prices include the shipping. Within the continental United States

There are extra shipping fees when shipping livestock into Alaska. There is no live bird guarantee when shipping to Alaska.

Live birds will ship directly to your post office where you will need to pick them up.

Adult birds require special handling. Call for shipping costs.

Orders are shipped as promptly as possible. Occasionally, however we run out of an item. Should this occur, the item will be sent as soon as it is in-stock.

WARRANTY: All non-livestock items are guaranteed against defects for ninety (90) days from purchase. If you are not satisfied with an item you receive, the item may be returned within 30 days, and you pay the shipping on the returned item.

RETURNS FOR ANY REASON MUST BE AUTHORIZED. We accept merchandise for return or exchange as long it is in the original carton and has all of its enclosures and has not been used. RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 10% RESTOCKING FEE. MINIMUM $4.00 RESTOCK FEE.

DROP SHIPPED ITEMS MAY BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL FEES SET BY THE MANUFACTURER.

Videos are non-returnable.

Engraved leg bands are non-refundable.

BIRD GUARANTEE We appreciate the service of the US Postal Service and the Airlines to provide a way to ship baby poultry to your post office. Help make sure this works smoothly by providing us with a working phone number for the mailing label.

Notify us within 48 hrs. of arrival of any birds that may have died.
Please report to us the number of live birds and the number of dead birds. We will, at our discretion, refund or give in-house credit for the purchase price of the dead birds, counting in any extra chicks received.

THERE IS A $5.00 CANCELLATION FEE FOR BIRD ORDERS THAT ARE CANCELLED BEFORE SHIPPING.

Hatching Egg Guarantee

We can offer no guarantee on hatching eggs. There are various factors involved in hatching eggs and while they frequently do well, we have no control over the handling of the eggs once they leave Stromberg’s.

We are sorry, but we do not internationally export live birds, eggs or adult birds.

Due to concerns over Virulent Newcastle Disease, eggs, birds and chicks are not allowed in parts of California (between zip-codes 90000-93599).

Sometimes bird shipments are arriving late-a situation over which the hatchery and consumer have no control. And unfortunately timely shipping/postal routing is not available to all zip codes. For additional information on the shipping status/difficulties please review the information at www.birdshippers.org.

Order Discrepancies: Check all orders immediately upon receipt and contact us within 10 days on any discrepancies.

Prices: Stromberg’s will invoice all orders on the basis of prices which are in effect at the time of shipment. We reserve the right to change catalog prices if we deem it necessary. Please feel free to confirm prices at any time. Stromberg’s is not responsible for typographical errors.

Liability: Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for any item. We make no warranty or representation, express or implied except all products conform to the description provided by the manufactur­er on sales literature or product labels.

Product Suitability: Due to many state and local codes and regulations regarding sales, con­struc­tion, installation and use of products for certain purposes, we cannot guarantee compliance in every situation. We attempt to assure that all products comply with state and local codes and regulations, so before you purchase and use a product please review both the product application and local codes and regulations. Be sure that the product, its installation and its use will comply with those codes and regulations.

State Sales Tax: When applicable, we are required to collect sales tax by law. Exemptions for sales tax will be allowed if you have either a signed Certificate of Resale or an Exemption Certificate. The tax forms vary by state, please call for details. Law requires that we have these certificates on file before any tax exemption can be allowed.

Holiday Closings: We are closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanks­giv­ing Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
