Shipping & Returns Policy
For orders to Continental US, our prices on books and most equipment does not include shipping and will be calculated at checkout. Some large items base the shipping on state and you will be prompted to indicate your state so it can be calculated. Alaska, Hawaii, US Possessions and Canada will require additional shipping costs. Please call for costs.
International Orders: For international orders for equipment, there is additional shipping. You will receive a quote for shipping costs via email at this point you can either accept or reject the shipping charges. We do not send live birds, eggs or adult birds internationally.

There are extra shipping fees when shipping livestock into Alaska.
Live birds will ship directly to your post office where you will need to pick them up.
Adult birds require special handling. Call for shipping costs.
Orders are shipped as promptly as possible. Occasionally, however we run out of an item. Should this occur, the item will be sent as soon as it is in stock.
WARRANTY: All non-livestock items are guaranteed against defects for ninety (90) days from purchase. If you are not satisfied with an item you receive, the item may be returned within 30 days, and you pay the shipping on the returned item.
RETURNS FOR ANY REASON MUST BE AUTHORIZED. We accept merchandise for return or exchange as long it is in the original carton and has all of its enclosures and has not been used. RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 10% RESTOCKING FEE. MINIMUM $4.00 RESTOCK FEE.
DROP SHIPPED ITEMS MAY BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL FEES SET BY THE MANUFACTURER.
Videos are non-returnable.
Engraved leg bands are non refundable.

BIRD GUARANTEE We appreciate the service of the US Postal Service and the Airlines to provide a way to ship baby poultry to your post office. Help make sure this works smoothly by providing us with a working phone number for the mailing label.
Notify us within 48 hrs. of arrival of any birds that may have died. Please report to us the number of live birds and the number of dead birds. We will, at our discretion, refund or give inhouse credit for the purchase price of the dead birds, counting in any extra chicks received.
THERE IS A $5.00 CANCELLATION FEE FOR BIRD ORDERS THAT ARE CANCELLED BEFORE SHIPPING.
Hatching Egg Guarantee
We can offer no guarantee on hatching eggs. There are various factors involved in hatching eggs and while they frequently do well, we have no control over the handling of the eggs once they leave Stromberg’s.
We are sorry, but we do not export live birds, eggs or adult birds.
Sometimes bird shipments are arriving late-a situation over which the hatchery and consumer have no control. And unfortunately timely shipping/postal routing is not available to all zipcodes.
