Description

The Snowflake Bobwhite Quail is a beautifully ornate variation of the classic White Bobwhite Quail. These birds are predominantly white, accented with black speckles throughout their bodies, creating a striking and elegant appearance. They are easy to raise and make excellent egg producers, with a breeding season from April to June, during which they can lay up to 16 eggs per clutch.

Bobwhites prefer perches, as they do better off the ground, and are highly sociable, thriving in groups known as coveys. Their diet includes seeds, greens, insects, and a staple game bird pellet, supporting their health and vitality.

Our quails are excellent flyers and are not pinioned, allowing natural flight. The Snowflake Quails offered are yearlings, aged 12-14 months old, and ready to add beauty and productivity to your aviary or farm.

    quail housing

by Jan on May 25, 2024

I see that the info on these birds say they like perches. Quail are ground birds and I have never had one of mine use a perch ever. Best in housing with hardware cloth wire flooring to let the droppings fall through. Or ground with shavings and dirt. I raise these as well and love them.
