Best I've used
June 29th, 2017
I've tried other types of numbered non-metal leg bands, but I like these the best so far. They are obviously able to be used on any sized bird, they stay on, and different colors help me track them by group or age. The down-sides are they can slip up and stick on the upper shank, or slip down and stay around the foot below the spur if not watched. Since I like to put mine on when they are younger birds sometimes, I have to watch especially for them to slip down. The other negative is that over time the numbers can get hard to read. I still like them better than spiral bands and metal bands.
