Janssen Racing Homer pigeons are a highly sought-after strain renowned for their strong homing abilities and exceptional performance in racing. Known for their intelligence and ability to fly long distances (400-500 miles), they reach speeds of about 55 mph. These pigeons come in various colors, including blue bar and red check. Please note, these pigeons are not pedigreed.
Availability: Pairs, Males, or Females
These are young, non-mated pigeons that have not been flown. They are banded and range in age from 3 to 18 months.
Note: Sexing is guaranteed for up to 6 weeks from the date of delivery.
- Live birds and hatching eggs are not shipped immediately after order placement.
- Shipment dates are determined by our partner hatcheries or breeders unless a specific date is provided during checkout.
- Once the hatchery or breeder confirms your shipment date, you will receive an email from Stromberg’s/Mann Lake with the details. This process is not immediate and may take some time as we coordinate with the hatchery/breeder.
- Shipping costs are not included in the price for hatching eggs, baby chicks, adult birds, pigeons, and doves due to special handling requirements. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
