The Barred Rock is a single comb, clean legged variety that originated in the U.S. This is an ideal dual purpose bird. This is the original Plymouth Rock Breed. The White Rock, Buff Rock and Partridge Rock all come from the Barred Rock. They have a friendly disposition & are also cold hardy. Can lay 200+ eggs per year!
