Narrow trough prevents chicks from getting into feed and scratching. Made of sturdy plastic. Easy to clean. Will hold up to 8 lb of feed. Snaps together. Not adjustable. Lid rests on top, sold separately.

I have had a couple of these feeders and they're both yellow and red and never really had a problem with the lid once they learn to flip it over so the pointed into the cone was pointing down inside the feeder.
The feeder works fine it just has to be in a covered area. I purchased 2 and also purchased 2 lids. The lids I would give a 0. They won't stay on the top of the feeder and if any wind blows by they are off and over to the side. Just a waste. Note the best design needs a locking top.
