We love these chick feeders for our week old chick's before they head into the brooder tower. We have created a 1" x 1" removable grid that installs over the feed area to limit waste. We usually place a 1/4" and 1/2" 2"x12" section of sanded plywood to create a ramp for new Quail babies until they are tall enough to feed without the high chair. It's our go to feeder for our Jumbo Quail business in Reading PA.
