Throughout the mating season, these peafowl undergo a remarkable transformation, with their feathers lightening considerably to produce a dramatically different look by season's end. The Cameo Peahen, lighter in brown than both the Cameo Peacock and Burford Bronze Peahen, is beautifully accented with an intriguing rusty metallic hue around its neck, adding to their stunning appeal.
