    Just finished brooding

by Roger on Apr 20, 2026

We ordered 160 anticipating a 10% loss. We lost 5, 2 in shipping and 3 with no rhyme or reason during brooding. I'm super happy with them up to this point. I'll try to remember and review with a finish average weight.

    cornish Rock cross fast chicks

by Rose Domson on Apr 16, 2026

The shipping this year was much better. Last year we had them go to Torrington, WY. which took over 5 days and we lost several. This year, we went to Scottsbluff, NE, and received them within 65 hrs. Although when we did get them 5 were already dead and we lost 6 more within the next 3 days. Over all I thought it was an improvement from last year. This bunch of chicks are very spunky! which is very good.!!
