They were...Fine.
I've ordered several batches from Strombergs and I've always been happy with them but this one was not as good as the rest. The chickens weren't quite as hardy as they usually are and while I ordered all males, exactly 20% were female. None of these are deal breakers with me assuming it's a one off. I would be disappointed if they were regularly like this. My biggest challenge with chickens from Strombergs is the inability to get a shipping date. In the past they've been able to give me a ballpark as to when they were coming. This time they were not able to do it and I wasn't notified they shipped until after I had received them.
