Compatible quail egg species include:

 

A larger breed developed especially for meat production. A white skinned, white meat quail.

Weight: 12-14 oz


These products being sold are live chicks or eggs.

These items being sold are fertile quail eggs. These are shipped as soon as they are laid, for the best incubation results. Usually, these eggs can ship as soon as 1-1.5 months from the time that your order is placed. However, during the peak spring season, the wait can become longer.

    Real Texas A&M Quail are 16oz at 6 wks

    I too hear that the original Texas A&M quail are no longer commercially available. I also know they were 16oz the largest on record was 19 ounces at 6 weeks of age. They are also sensually mature and laying eggs. I raised them and am intimately familiar with the breeding program that produced these birds. I am fascinated with the variety being offered here due to the white meat claim and still being a relatively larger bird. I would like to try these genetics and apply my knowledge of breeding up to see if they could match the original A&M. Im glad these are available and look forward to harnessing their genetic potential.

    I would like to hear more about your genetics on this bird, I am getting informed by numerous individuals that the Texas A&M no longer exists because the genetics couldn’t be carried on? Need your input please.
