Interestingly, with the advancement in radio telemetry, our understanding of bobwhites has evolved, revealing their ambisexual polygamy behavior. Both bird parents might incubate their quail chicks for about 23 days. Predation plays a role in their nest failures, though stable populations often have higher success rates.

- Shipping costs are not included in the price for hatching eggs, baby chicks, adult birds, pigeons, and doves due to special handling requirements. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
- Live birds and hatching eggs can only be shipped within the lower 48 US states.
