These ducks display a docile and calm temperament, making them a great choice for both size and meat production. They are known for high fertility and good egg-laying capabilities. Female Pekin hens typically weigh around 6 pounds, while males weigh approximately 9 pounds. While hens are excellent egg layers, they are not the best incubators, so you'll need to use a quality egg incubator to hatch your eggs successfully.
