Description

The Black Lace Blondinette Classic Old Frill is a striking fancy pigeon celebrated for its distinctive black lacing, or edging, on the wing and tail feathers. Adorned with grouse muffs—feathered feet and toes—this breed exudes elegance and charm. Unlike its closely related Satinette variety, which is predominantly white, the Blondinette features rich, colored plumage across its entire body. This beautiful and rare color pattern is the result of selective breeding for show and exhibition. Known for being tame, friendly, and intelligent, these birds make a wonderful addition to any avian collection or show cage.

    Sweet birds

by Ashley on Oct 24, 2024

I bought my birds about 2 years ago, I still have one. Has all the genetics, but the pattern was very very weak. Very little frill in the tail and wingtips after the bird molted. One bird arrived with a mild case of canker and had to be treated. I also had purchased a pair and received 2 males - one of the males had a very wide pelvis so I don’t hold that against the breeder at all. Although the pattern was weak if you got a pair the second generation would be excellent birds. The form otherwise was fantastic.

    loving and very sweet

I couldn't have asked for a more loving bird. best house pet ever. She took to me fast. She don't care for anyone else in the house so much but she tolerates them. sometimes she will let them hold her until she sees me then she will wing slap them witch I find funny.
