Great way to separate old from younger birds

Your website is easy to navigate, and the purchase fulfilled quickly. To be clear, I do not have chickens, but as a Kindergarten teacher, I use these rings to bind together classroom books my kids write. They are perfect for that!

I purchased size 12 because I wasn't sure about diameter but read other comments and guessed. These were perfect to band the leg of my "best" broody Gold Laced Orpington - full size fowl, probably 12 pound hen - easy to put on by hand, no bother to the hen once they are on. plastic so shouldn't be cold in our winters here. This hen adopted some 2+ week old babies when her youngster was 2 days old. I am still amazed. Will be buying her chicks to raise in the future since I despise raising them without a momma. I also came back and purchased the assorted in smaller sizes which I saw someone say they use a certain color for every hatch in a given year. What a great idea. I keep my birds until death but it's always nice to know age. I will be starting this.
