A Hatch!  |  By Sharon
I would say if you are doing this as an activity with your young one it is worth the 20.00. I received a damaged one at first and Stromberg's sent another one free. Nice service. Also, we tried two hatches. Each with two fertile eggs. We got a single chick from each hatch. It is definitely a manual process and we tried to be very careful about the temperatures and turning the eggs and keeping water in the incubator. There were many adjustments and some spikes and drops in the temps due to the changing weather of spring. But given all the variables we have two peeps out of two hatches!

So far, great. Its not within my budget to get a larger incubator. Hopefully in 2.5 weeks I will have a chick or 3. This one only holds 3 chicken eggs however.

small but great  |  By Savannah N Allen
I bought this incubator to try and hatch some quail eggs. I've never done any hatching in the past, so I couldn't justify spending a bunch of money on an incubator. So far, this has been great. I've got 8 quail eggs sitting now that should hatch in a week and a half. I've had some issues in regulating the temperature, but that seems easily corrected.

good product. We bought it to try hatching lovebird eggs, and it's the perfect size for that plus will use much less electricity than a conventional incubator. It's very small and make of thin plastic, but it's definitely worth the money we spent on it.

Cickubator not worth the money   |  By Kristie
The service at Stromberg's is completely first class. The chickubator however did not meet my expectations. The item cost 17.00 plus shipping. I expected something a little more substantial since a fully digitized incubator is about 30.00 more at Tractor Supply. My homemade one was much more substantial. save the dollars. Go ahead and get a real one instead of spending your money on a disposable trinket.
Response From Stromberg's: This can be a challenging incubator to use. However we do have many customers that swear by its success. Generally the higher the price of the incubator the easier it is to get better hatch results. We do know it is our cheapest incubator and we feel the product does represent good value for the price. Happy hatching!
