Blue Breasted Red Old English Bantams have bright red combs, faces, wattles and ear lobes. They originated, as their name suggests, in England. Males and females have entirely different, unique, attractive, multicolored plumage patterns. All Old English Bantams have single combs, however males must be dubbed (comb and wattles removed) in order to show.
The genetic makeup of the Blue Breasted Red Old English is the same as for the Black Breasted Red except that a blue gene has replaced one of the black genes. There will not be
complete uniformity in chick color because the blue gene always gives about 3 shades.
