In the next several months, things will be in full swing for the 2008 season. Many popular varieties sell out quickly so order early to avoid disappointment.

We do our best to give you a general guideline of bird production times. Please remember that Mother Nature is the final arbiter and changeable weather patterns greatly affect bird production. Spring reaches us late in the northern states.

Chick and egg orders are shipped on first come, first serve basis and as the flock produces.. You may request a desired ship date, and we will try to get close to that date. You will be notified by mail of your expected ship date.

Common Chicken Breeds start hatching early February. We are taking orders for
upcoming 2008 hatches. Weekly hatches through late Fall/early Winter.

Limited Offering/Specialty Breeder Large Fowl start hatching Jan.until end of May. Taking orders now for these bi-monthly hatches starting mid January 2008. Chick assortments only from our specialty breeder till end of May.

Large Fowl Chicken Eggs start shipping January until end of May.

More Common Bantam Breeds start hatching early Feb. 2008. Hatch weekly through late Fall/early Winter.

Rio Grande Strain Wild Turkeys will start shipping April.

Eastern Strain Wild Turkey eggs start shipping May. Eastern Strain Wild turkey poults start mid May.

Common breeds start in Feb/March. Most common duck breeds go through fall.

Duck Eggs will start shipping late Feb/early March. We offer Mallard, Pekin, Rouen, F&W Indian Runner, Swedish and other duck eggs.

Unfortunately we will not offer Call Duck eggs or ducklings for 2008.

Common domestic goslings start mid March through mid summer.

Canada goslings start mid May for a short time only. Order early.

We do not offer geese eggs.

Bobwhite Eggs start in April. Bobwhite chicks start shipping mid May through the
summer.

Tennessee Red Eggs start mid May, chicks start shipping in June.

Cal. Valley & Gambel Eggs start mid May, chicks start shipping in June. We sell
out early. Order ahead. Ca. Valley/Gambel/Blue Scale quail chicks SOLD OUT but eggs still available to order. Ca. Valley, Blue Scale(limited) and Gamble adults are available.

Blue Scale eggs start June, Blue Scale chicks hatch in July. Limited production. Order early. Blue Scale chicks SOLD OUT.

Coturnix Quail Eggs start late March/early April through fall.
Chinese Button quail eggs assorted colors only. Temporarily SOLD OUT.

Yearling Pheasants are available. Winter weather may delay shipping.
Fancy pheasant eggs start shipping later April/May, flock production dependent.
Fancy ornamental pheasant eggs SOLD OUT. Waiting list only.

Chinese Ringneck, Jumbo White, Bohemian Blackneck and Afghan White wing Eggs start mid April.Still taking orders for all these kinds of pheasant eggs.

No eggs or hatchlings available.

Yearling pairs of Black Ducks, Wood Ducks, Mandarin Ducks, Pintails and Mallards are available for purchase for later Fall shipping. Still some Mandarin pairs full wing available for spring shipping.
