Battery Cages

Battery cages allow for efficient use of space for you laying hens, breeding pairs or gamebirds. They also serve as great grow-out pends until youg birds are ready for your regular housing. The stacking structure leaves a small footprint while well designed clean-out system makes sanitation easy. Cages are designed to have individual or trough waterers and feeders acceable from outside the cage, or they can be equipped with internal feeders and waterers appropriate for your specific needs.

18 Hen Layer Cage

Your Own Egg Supply Produced In Your Garage or Basement! This is an ideal unit for the family wanting to produce eggs and meat for home consumption or as a breeding pen for the poultry fancier. Each unit measures 36" x 18" x 18" and has a galvanized wire divider to create 2 18" x 18" x 18" compartments suitable for 2-3 birds each. Sturdy all metal construction and interlocking legs allow units to stack up to 3 high without a rack. Floors are sloped to let eggs roll gently. Each unit comes complete with galvanized refuse tray and deflector guards. Also included are two water dishes and two galvanized j-bin feeders.

Compact cage offers efficient housing for quail or other small birds. Each section is 10" wide by 24" deep and can hold up to 4 quail. Feed trough is included. Watering trough is on the outside of back for easy filling or may be equipped with automatic wattering Constructed of galvanized steel. Correct slope of floor permits eggs to roll out under the feed trough. Total measurement 30" wide x 24" deep x 10" high. floor mesh 1/2" x 1". Dropping Pan not included.
