The Japanese Bantam is a clean legged, single comb variety that originated in Japan. This is not a cold hardy breed. Tails are large, well spread in profile and carried forward. Plumage of head, neck, back, breast, body & legs are buff. Tail is blaack with top 2 feathers edged with buff. sickles and lesser sickle are black edged with buff. Male wing primaries are black, fringed with buff. Female wing primaries are black with outer edged in buff.
